Kuvaus
Cognitive Analytic Therapy’s (CAT) collaborative approach is highly applicable to seeing teens and young people (ages 15 to 25 or thereabouts). This workshop will consider the developmental needs alongside the socio-political pressures young people face today through the relational lens of CAT.
The workshop will cover how CAT’s approach can assist in engaging young people who are seen as complex, are coerced to attend therapy by family members and not as willing to reflect on difficulties as many adults are. The workshop will provide an overview of how CAT can be applied and adapted in working alongside teens and young people, their families and support system.
